Bahtiri: Today it is decided whether Pacolli can run for Pristina

New Kosovo Alliance official (AKR) Agim Bahtiri has clarified that it has not yet been set for the candidate they will take to Pristina.

It suggests that all AKR leadership and branches have proposed their leader Behgjet Pacolli to enter the race for local elections. But he explains they're expecting their leader to say the final word.

The entire leadership, membership and branches of the AKR have proposed that Mr Pacolli be in the race for Pristina. We expect him to reflect positively” has expressed Bahtiri for Express, while adding that he believes that 90 percent, Behgjet Pacolli will not run.

In the race to be held for Pristina now are names that will challenge the current head of this municipality, Shpend Ahmeti.

Arba Abrashi from LDK, Arbe Vlachhiu from AAK, Lirak Celij from the PDK, Shyceri Bytyqi from the Initiative, as well as Rifat until Alternative, have mastered the post of sight in this municipality, while it is expected to be decided for Pacolli today. His is the decision.

Bahtiri said that today he knows whether Pacolli will be. So we have a meeting of the AKR leadership and by 8:00 we have a deadline to publish the candidate”, he added.

In local elections, which will be held on 22 October, almost all political parties have run their candidates for mayors while interesting races in all Kosovo municipalities are expected.
