Following terrorist attacks on several European cities and threats of further attacks by I The SIS, State Police say it has taken additional measures in the area of public security, organised crime, serious crime and the border.
“So there will be increased police presence in uniform and agents on the ground, control measures will be strengthened during activities with massive cultural-sport participation, shopping malls, strategically important objects, diplomatic body, etc. The measures of control at Border Crossing Points and Green Borders will also be strengthened for persons considered in risk, anti-legal tools and items”, says the State Police report, followed by time.net.
In parallel, antiterror structures are working intensively on the ground to control people with risks, with radical trends, but also their connections, the report said.
These structures have intensified co-operation with the Prosecutor, SESH and partner countries' law enforcement agencies for exchange of any information on time for terrorist background criminal activities with a view to prevention, uncovering the legal responsibility of suspected authors”.
In this context the State Police with their specialised structures seek understanding of these additional measures and at the same time co-operation to denounce any suspicion of persons objecting to the event.
