Albania is on fire, Greece's aid demanded

During the last 24 hours throughout the country, there have been seven fires in several circuits. An estimated 84 firemen, 17 fire vehicles, 90 personnel from Army Armed Forces, volunteer workers, forest workers and the Defense Zone Directorate, etc., supported by helicopters.

In addition to helicopters, there are two small planes from the Greek state committed to extinguishing the fires in Llogara.

Civil emergency specialists are keeping the situation on constant monitoring throughout the country.

The Civil Emergency General Directorate at the Ministry of Internal Affairs reiterates calling to all citizens to report immediately to emergency numbers 112, 129 and 128 if they find fires.

CAR IN THE village of Vrap, Tirana, there has been fire on a bush and olive surface. Firefighters supported by military forces have intervened, extinguishing the fire. A considerable area of shrubs and some olive roots burned as a result of the fire.

In the delivery near the village of St. Magdjeg, the Tirana municipality has continued to be active in the fire station. Fire extinguishers have been engaged and are working, forces from the Tirana Protection Areas Directorate as well as military forces, but because of the rugged mountainous terrain it has been impossible to extinguish the entire fires.

THE VLOCUE WAR in the village of Dukat, Vlora, near Llogara National Park, continues the operation to extinguish the fires. Military forces and personal protection agencies supported by two Greek aircraft are engaged in aid to firefighters. The beans have not yet died out, and the operation is under way today.

CAR OVER THE village of Slatina, the Debar municipality, has been on fire for several days in the pine - forest area. To help firemen and other employees, there is also a helicopter, but it has not been possible to extinguish. The operation is under way today.

In Uluz, the Mat municipality, a fire hearth has been reactivated. Firefighters have intervened and a helicopter is expected to come to the rescue. Operation is under way.

IN THE village of Ardenica, Lushnje municipality has fallen fire on a forest area of pine trees. Firefighters have intervened with tools to stave off aggressive spots. An area of about 10 acres [10 ha] of pine and bush was burned as a result of the fire.

THE ELBASAN FATHERS of Fire on the mountain of Dyra and on Mount Djeshu, the Librazd municipality has died out. Firefighters have also been assisted by local residents as well as zone employees. As a result of the fire, some 11 acres [11 ha] of shrubs and oaks were burned.

THE BRACRATS in the village of Kakrruk, Skrapar, have dropped fire on a bush and ahu area. Firefighters are monitoring the fireholes so they can't get near residential areas.
