About 500 people have appeared before the trial in Turkey today, on charges of involvement in failed coup attempts.
It is the most massive judgment so far, about the failed stamp against Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan.
Some of the 485 suspects face life in prison for crimes involving murder or attempted to kill Erdogan.
According to the government, the failed coup organisers have used it as their headquarters, the area near Akinci Air Base, north of Istanbul.
Religious cleric Fetullah Gulen, whom the government accuses of organising the failed stamp, has been mentioned as the top defendant in this case and will be tried in absentia.
He denies these accusations and rejects any involvement in the event.
This is just one of the dozens to be held in Turkey over the failed coup attempts, of which 250 people died in July 2016.
