Some 34.4 million citizens of Italy, including children, will go on summer vacation this year, which represents an increase of 3.2 percent compared with 2016, the Italian Association of Federalberg Hotels announced today.
This means that 56.6 percent of the total population have gone or will go on summer vacation between June and September, the Italian news agency Ansa broadcasts.
