The deadline for registering political subjects is by Tuesday, while what is noted is that in most of the current mayors will be re-run by political parties.
The Democratic League of Kosovo in all municipalities where it currently leads has not changed even a name, writes the news.net.
Gazmend Muharnier in Peja, Lutfi Haziri in Gjilan, Muharrem Sfarqa in Ferizaj, and Agim Veliu in Podujevo, will seek yet another mandate from citizens after the party has decided to recontend.
The citizens' vote to lead again with the municipality will also be sought by Imri Ahmeti in Lipjan, Hakki Rugova in Istog, Sali Aslanaj in Suhareka, Sokol Haliti in the year, and Burim Berisha in Fushe Kosovo.
Few changes in municipalities where the government will currently make the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
In Prizren and Vushtrri this party, according to all odds, will not continue with Ramadan Muja, Bajram Mulaku, respectively.
In doubt, though, it is Sknareji and Drenas, where several candidates who are aiming to claim the citizens' vote are present.
Sokol Basota is expected to be rerun for Cline chairman Idriz Vehapi in Rahovec, Naim Ismaili in Shqim, and Besim Ilazi in Kacanik.
There have been no major changes from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
Agron Kuci will seek another mandate from Junik citizens, while Xhafer Gashi intends to hold the post of Obilic chairman.
In Decani, however, this subject has been appointed candidate for Union Union Chairman Ramosaj, as Rasim Selmanaj has recently won seats in Parliament.
The Vetevendosje Movement has decided not to change the candidate to the only municipality it leads to.
In Pristina, another mandate requires Shpend Ahmeti.
The current Mitrovica mayors, Gjakova and Elez Hani, will again seek vote from citizens.
Agim Bahtiri with the New Kosovo Alliance will request the second mandate in the town of Mitrovica, while Mimoza Kusari-Lila, even though elected deputy, will enter the race for Gjakova's first.
The next mandates will require independent candidate Rufki Suma, who will aim to be chairman of Elez's Khan.
The deadline for parties to submit the names of candidates for mayor and assembly is 22 August.
