His reaction came after the Supreme Court's decision to clear up all counts of war crimes by the mayor of Skyeraj, Sami Lushtak.

Thaci on social network “Facebook” congratulates Lushtaku for release and hopes innocence will be confirmed to fellow fighters, so that they too can return to their families.

Read Thaci's complete writing:

The KLA freedom struggle is the fundamental value of our state. This value, meaning the sacrifice of entire generations for our freedom and independence, is sacred and permanent.

Efforts to tarnish that value are meaningless and unjust. Confirming the innocence of the mayor of the Skywright municipality and releasing all charges is another testimony to that.

Therefore, I sincerely wish Mayor Sami Lushtaku and hope that innocence will be confirmed to fellow fighters, so that they too may return to their families. HTH
