U.S. takes measures to protect against ballistic missiles

THAAD is part of the national defense system against ballistic missiles.

The target in the form of a middle - ray ballistic rocket was launched over the Pacific Ocean in northern Hawaii.

Agency announced that T ballistic missile defence system HAAD, from Alaska, has discovered and stopped the target.

The target was similar to the tested rockets from North Korea, writes the REL.

This test was conducted after North Korea declared that on 4 July it had tested an interclined ballistic missile.

The missile testing raised concerns about the threat coming from Penyan.

System T HAAD is designed to stop ballistic missiles in and out of the atmosphere in their last phase of flight.
