Representatives of the Democratic Woman of Kosovo in Skenderaj, the network of women in business, and the Association of intellectual women have strongly condemned the offensive language of Vetevendosje MP Ismajli, and express indignation at the nonresponsion of women's organisations in Kosovo.
Full response:
We wish to express our deep indignation over the insults and insults that, unfortunately, members of the Kosovo Assembly. Ismaili made it to the deputy's address from the Drenica region. Ganimetie Musliu.
In this case, we express our attitude against all injustice in the addresses of women, the more so when these injustice exposes us to why a woman has a right to bring a girl to life. This insult was not addressed only to a Musliu Ganimet, but to all the women in our country, that's why we ask our public personalities; to be careful about their proposals and not to make chauvinist statements, because they're called to cut off progress processes and to be the best example for our society, and not to influence that public debate is degenerating in proportion.
We are also deeply indignant with the application of double standards of Kosovo's Women's Network, representatives of civil society and other personalities of our political scene against the same cases of assaults and offenses on women in Kosovo, because while in some cases, as if they compete with who first or first will be declared in support of a women who are punished, in this case the same or the same case are silent.
These groups, which are so popularly called on to the women's strengthening cause in society, should know that gender policies are not only cosmetic and applicational policies, but are policies that require personal devotion and sacrifice, because they are the very policies that will pave the way in which tomorrow, after that, our girls will be standing.
In this case, we express strength and our attitude against these double standards because we think that a woman who is offended should not necessarily be from a certain region, she should not necessarily meet a certain profession or meet a certain family. A woman who is offended should not necessarily have certain optical sizes or to have a certain husband behind her, in order to offer her support, at least moral support, from organizations that are called upon to empower women's position and from members of civil society or even from society itself in general.
In question, citizens from all over Kosovo express their solidarity with Ganimet Musliu, but silenced those who should not be silent, and their silence conveyed a bitter message, which indicated that if the women want quiet lives they must live!
But women in our society won't be silent, because if they're allowed to become the social norm so that a woman can be accused and denigrated for having a baby, in this case another woman, then we've let someone else become our daughters tomorrow.
We, representatives of the surveyed associations, unanimously express our indignation for the Fsinik Ismaili degenerated statements in the addresses of Ganimes Musliu, these statements that hold nothing but the lowest insults in addressing a woman. Such statements do not serve in the performance of any important process for the country, except that they are attempting the destruction of women's position in society.
Such statements contribute to the primitiveness of society in general, so you should be told stop. That's what all race groups in Kosovo had to do, but some other personalities who, in some cases, react quickly to light and sometimes become deaf and dumb.
Snake politics have never been and it's not even today.
With respect,
Democratic Ghawia é Skenderaj
