Newly certified, they're happy to serve this force, until they say it doesn't prevent the transformation of KSF into Armed Forces. They, even feel good to serve in Kosovo's future army.
The latest KSF member, from the Serbian community Velko Curciq, says he sees the future in Kosovo, as he wants to work and live here because there are no obstacles to anyone. He even invites his fellow countrymen to join the KSF and other state institutions.
No, not as far as I know. They show you in competitions and they look for work. No, I wouldn't say it bothers me”, he said, reports kp.
Another young Serb, Stefan Djukkiq of Zubin Potok, calls it a good experience to serve the Kosovo Army and feels good about it.
We've been looking for work. I like military life, my dad's a cop, I love this job. This is a new experience, I'm here for the first time. It's a new experience”, Djukkiq said.
High national personalities also attended the ceremony. Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has called it an important and courageous step for the career and future of the KSF's 61 new cadets from the ranks of no majority communities.
