Following last night's Ramush Haradinaj meetings with non-Serb communities, AAK official Avni Arifi said these non-Serb minority communities agreed to support the PAN candidate for prime minister without any conditions.
But the Egyptian community representative says he sought the leadership of a ministry yesterday and has rejected the post of deputy minister.
Coalition Prime Minister Candidate PAN, Ramush Haradinaj, has been hosting the parties' non-Serb communities' meetings yesterday to negotiate about the government's establishment.
Avni Arifi, an AAK member who last day delivered a media conference in which he showed the reasons for the meeting, told KALLXO.com today that all communities have agreed to support Haradinaj for prime minister.
“All communities are ready to co-operate and all communities want to be part of the government, all of us taking on their obligations without any conditions”, Arifaj said.
However, that is not what Egyptian Liberal Party leader Veton Berisha, who was present yesterday at the meeting with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's candidate.
Berisha says “has had” conditions for Haradinaj's governance.
My request is to direct a ministry and take responsibility even to be the minister contributing to each, and in particular to the development of the Egyptian community. We were practically offered by a deputy minister, but I rejected him, brought him back. I told him I was worth more, and I told him I had to negotiate differently and I refused. Two countries are, more powerful position in the government, even a government programme for the development of my community”, Berisha said.
Even in one of the Debat Pernym shows of the “jet show in Kosovo”, Berisha had said they were willing to run a ministry as well.
Berisha declared that it was not specifically discussed any ministry, as he declared it must make sure Haradinaj has the numbers for government creation.
We don't have a conversation about which minister, but now we have some areas like education, culture, employment, some areas that are vital to us. We're also interested in seeing the numbers if they're safe. We are not yours to see the Wall numbers that are safe, so it remains open, there is nothing concrete --”, Egyptian elected MP Veton Berisha said among other things.
He added that yesterday they confirmed to Haradinaj that they are willing to enter the government, but taking responsibility, not just to do the numbers.
However, the AAK's Arifi numbers are sure to have them.
The “will be a solid majority that will support the Haradinaj” government, Avni Arifi said briefly.
