EULEX's Special Prosecutor has demanded that the detention measure be set up for the three suspects in the serious murder of two UNMIK officials and to try the serious murder of two other UNMIK officials in 2004.
Two of the suspects -- Bajram Kicmari and Alban Dizdari -- have been arrested yesterday following a search operation as part of the ongoing criminal investigation by the Special Prosecutor conducted by EULEX Police and Kosovo Police, Klen Kosova reports.
In the meantime, the third suspect to be Faik Shaqiri has been extradited last night from Germany.
Orders for arrests and research have been issued by a Kosovo judge for preliminary procedure.
Faik Shaqiri, arrested last week in Germany under suspicion of killing two UNMIK police officers in 2004, last night around 23 and 30 minutes has been extradited to Kosovo.
Indexline's sources within police have indicated Shaqiri was extradited through Munchen Airport accompanied by civil police, while specialised members of the Kosovo Police and EULEX are expected on the runway.
After landing in Pristina, numerous police forces escorted Shaqiri to a detention, while two other suspects were arrested yesterday in the case: Alban Dizari and Bajram Kiqmari.
Yesterday's police action was taken after a court order, where two more were arrested in addition to Dizar and Kiqmar, due to illegal possession of weapons.
In the police action, 35 EULEX police officers and 100 members of the Kosovo Police have participated in several locations.
