The policeman who committed murder with the official gun is acquitted.

Zyfer Krasniqi, accused of killing Bahri Sogojevo, is released.

The chairman of the court, Becir Kaluldra, acquitted police officer Zyfer Krasniqi, who was accused of killing Bahri Sogojevo with the official gun.

Judge Kaluldra argued the liberation act with the fact that Krasniqi was on official duty and acted on his competencies.

Sogojevo lawyer Bajram Tmava told KALLXO.com that his client had taken those actions on the basis of the necessary defence.

“has acted within the necessary protection and under the authorisations of the official gun”, lawyer Tmava said.

Based on the indictment, the event took place on July 20, 2010, around 5:00 at the location called “The Antenat” in Pristina's Germ Park.

The prosecution claimed that Zyfer Krasniqi deliberately deprived the deceased Bahri Sogojevo of life now, since Sogojevo had previously robbed a mobile phone, threatening him with a gun and punching him in the face several times.

According to the indictment, after Sogojevo had begun to leave with the stolen phone, the accused Krasniqi had taken his official gun from the car and shot seven times in the direction of Sogojevo, shooting him with all these bullets in some parts of the body.

Sogojeva from her wounds was dead, while the prosecution charged Krasniqi with being able to use other methods to stop and arrest her.
