U n NESTO defends Albanian virgin forests

U n NESTO takes on two more areas in Albania. The World Heritage Committee gathered in Krakow, Poland, approved the expansion of the World Heritage Area of the Old Bah Forest with two areas from Albania.

The Gashi River area in Tropoj and the Perrenja root area are included in the WW World Heritage List NESTO.

The hout forests at Runca are part of the Sibenik-Jablanica National Park, which has already turned into a tourist destination in Albania's southeast, while Gashi's “River area was included by Albanian authorities as the First National Park Reserve in 1996.

Currently on U's World Riches List NESCO are included by Albania, the Ancient City of Butrint, the historic cities of Gjirokastra and Berat, and Albanian Isopolphony.

Albania expected to hand over to U NESTO is also part of the World Heritage site since 1979, writes Top Channel.
