The United States and Germany expect Kosovo individuals and institutions to co-operate with the Special Court. The US has once again confirmed full support for the functioning of Specialised Chambers within its mandate and in compliance with the Kosovo Constitution.
Meanwhile, Germany's ambassador to Kosovo Angelika Viets in a proposal given to the newspaper has said decisions stemming from the judicial processes should be accepted by a legal state.
According to her, the start of the work of this Court does not need to find Kosovo with institutions formed, as individuals rather than holders of state functions or positions will be charged. On the other hand, political parties in Kosovo have said that regardless of whether they agree to the formation of this Court and its work now has legal grounds and as such will be respected.
