The two presidents, Kosovo's Hashim Thaci and Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciq, weeks ago had met in Brussels, where they also agreed on further development of the normalisation of relations dialogue between the two countries. It was said that this dialogue should be developed at the presidential level from now on.
In a proposal for Indexline, MP from the AAK ranks Teuta Haxhiu has said talks with Serbia, in the Haradinaj Government, should not be conducted without carefully analyzing the results achieved by the current agreements.
According to her, it is good to include all political categories in the dialogue.
“Talks of all agreements reached so far must be seen how implemented. Let's look at the results that have been achieved before, then on the data or findings of those non- implementing or not implementing those agreements, then there's a general consultation to be seen by all the officers. Dialogue is not in the individual's interest, so I think all political categories should be involved in dialogue. But, in advance, it needs to be seen once over how much they have been implemented, and until the final implementation of the agreements, it personally feels that it should not be continued with dialogue”, Haxhiu said.
It promises that at Haradinaj Government, there will be better results for citizens, both in dialogue and other issues.
The Haradinaj government, every day of governance, will have good results for citizens. Therefore the question of dialogue and others will be drawn to the country's interest, the word dialogue does not imply that it is in the interest of only one country, but we are out of the war, so every day of the Haradinaj government will be in the interest of citizens. On August 3rd, MPs will decide first for the Assembly then we'll continue for Government”, Haxhiu said.
Even the MP from the Kosovo Initiative's ranks, Valdete Bajrami, thinks that in dialogue with Serbia, in the future there should be inclusion in order to have consensus on both talks and all national issues.
The question of the talks should be addressed very carefully, but also with a transparency because it is known that the talks held in Brussels have not been at all transparent. First we have to wait for the establishment of institutions as well here should have an important role and coalition decision-making role, and this issue must therefore have inclusion in order to have a consensus on both the talks and all the national issues”, she added.
Otherwise, the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue has been out for several months. This has happened because of the central elections first in Serbia, and then in Kosovo.
