That's how you do beaches in Albania, a woman with a blanket. (Photo)

I borrowed these pictures from a friend on my page on fb.
They show a Muslim woman to <x0...costum” of the bathroom and an airtight cadre, within which a man bathing at sea has locked his wife and daughter off seeing her. The pictures were taken in Lalz Bay. I saw the same scene last year in Hamallaj, Durres. Two men, they built a huge tent like the army, isolated from all sides, and locked inside their wives and daughters, while they themselves burst into the water to cool themselves with the boys.
I belong to Islam, but this is not about religion. To me, this is an agrarian violation of human rights. This is a man's brutal behavior towards his wife. It's a wild form of violence. It is one of those actions that should alert the associations of women seeking gender equality in parliament and state offices, while there is no gender equality before the sun and water. Women are treated here as slaves, and don't tell me they chose to do it themselves. There are no living beings that would like to burn inside the tent while the sea is only 20 feet away. It's terrible to think that minor girls are subject to this violent ritual, to become women of “that they know” that their country is under a carcaf and under the umbrella. A woman has a thousand ways of showing herself to be a good Muslim, a good wife, a good mother and a good citizen, and not even covering herself on the beach.
