Democratic Party leader Basha, the second day of the count, spent it all in the office. Situated at 7: 00 a.m., Basha spent the entire morning reading every vote Albanian citizens had placed in the ballot boxes on June 25th.
With the exception of the Shkodra and Kukes district, almost all over the country, news reports that reached Basha's office were not good. The media had started talking about a deep SP victory in all 12 districts. When not even half of the ballot boxes were counted, the results proclaimed the SP winner by about 75 mandates.

Each vote is valid, each vote should be counted, each vote should be counted to the end. For the Democrats and all honest citizens of this country, you are the highest example of political and civic courage. Lulzim Basha”, wrote head of The DP's message to PD commissioners and observers.

The only moment during the day when Basha left the blue seat was lunch. Only 3 hours later, the head of The PD has returned to the office. The only meetings Basha held during yesterday's afternoon were those with Tirana's deputy candidate, Flamur Hoxha, and the head of the department for historical contributions to the DP, Jeman Gjana, writes. “Panorama”.
In the evening, his wife, Aurella, came to the office of the DP leader. Basha stayed in the office until late evening to leave.
