The charismatic candidate for Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, has talked for the first time about Kosovo during the opening of its governing programme.
It is addressed to Serbia's Parliamentary deputies, a part of which do not want it since it is lesbian, and the rest since it is President Vujic's proposal. Brnabiq has cited a historic compromise for Kosovo, but has not specified what it would be.
Ana Brnabiq, Serbia's candidate for prime minister, has started to expand its governing programme. Voting for the first female and gay prime minister in Serbia is expected to become the next two days. On Friday Brnabyq is expected to take the oath.
Proposed by the president, Aleksandar Vukic, she has said she wants a Serbia that will pursue developed societies. With Kosovo, according to her, Serbia must make a historic compromise.
“We want to continue dialogue with Albanians and engage in a policy improving relations with the provisional institutions in our province. Helping Serbs economically and it is urgent to form the operation of Serbian municipalities”, Ana Brnabiq, candidate for prime minister, Serbia, says.
It has been rejected by the opposition since it is not accepted as Vujic's proposal, while also by a small part of government due to its sexual orientation.
Its choice in the Serbian government is seen as an attempt to turn the Serbian government into expert organisation. But also a political marketing. /tch
