Yee says Western Balkans' EU integration in interest

Our “interest is that countries in the region have a respected economy that gives them a chance for all citizens, and especially for young people”, Yee said.
He has dismissed media claims that he will be the new US ambassador to Macedonia, saying he is satisfied with the work he is doing, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
Referring to warnings for a new US strategy for the Balkans, Yee stresses that the American government strongly supports EU membership aspirations.
“The countries that want to become EU members, NATO, or any other international organisation, should convince the leaders or members of these organisations that they are truly committed to this”, Yee has indicated.
