VV and LDK may not attend today's 2018 Budget session

The Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo are reviewing the possibilities of participation in today's call for 1500, in which it is expected to be voted again for the first-read budget bill in 2018. That's because at Wednesday's session, the budget bill only got [...]
The two opposition parties for two consecutive days where it was discussed the budget had dropped a host of charges on the position, saying that this bill, except that it does not bring economic growth, is also degraded.
The head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, and former Finance Minister Avdullah Hoti, has said that LDK's stance on the 2018 draft budget has changed nothing except what was said at last session.
According to him, Sunday's session has been set against the Parliament's regulation.
The session for the budget vote is set against the Kosovo Assembly regulation. We are considering whether we will attend Sunday's session or not. Our position on the budget was presented at the session, when the” budget was discussed, he said.
The same is said in Vetevendosje Movement.
MP for this subject, simultaneously a member of the Commission for Business and Finance, Ali Lajci, has declared they have not yet decided whether they will be participants at Sunday's session.
According to him, the budget has changed nothing from past governments.
“We have not yet decided whether we will go to the session. We don't owe the budget to vote because it doesn't provide economic growth, even the budget goes smoothly as has been the practice of other governments, so it's the same model. If he's got the votes, let him vote. Our attitude is the same”, he said.
Avdullah Hoti at the session when he was not even voted into first reading budgets for 2018 has said the latter is sorry and returns the situation before 2015. The Vetevendosje Movement, however, has seen this budget as the budget of asphalt. /Born.info/
