VMRO- DPMNE: Return to Parliament to Remain Only Future Option

The VMRO-DPMNE didn't even return to the Assembly today. Task leader co-ordinator of VMRO- The DPMNE says Vlasko Gjerchev's party remains in this stance until the change of these policies of the Government.
We're in a situation when we want to and there should be resolutions in the country, reductions in tensions and peace. But at the same time, we have a situation when yesterday you continue detention to many and that is not good for political dialogue, but rather floods the dialogue”, said Vlasko Gjerchev, MP of VMRO-DPMNE.
But Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi is optimistic that the largest opposition party after the holidays will return to the Assembly. Xhaferi adds is a must for full functioning of the Assembly.
And in the debate we made, I stressed that they are not guided by hypothetical aspects what and how. Movements and actions following the extraordinary VMRO Congress- The DPMNE I think goes towards their consolidation and their return to Parliament. These are my expectations, and I stress that I am not guided by hypotheses”, said Talat Xhaferi, chairman of the Parliament.
Meanwhile, the VMRO-DPMNE statuteial Commission has begun the procedure for changing party status. The subject also calls on the party's reform, democratisation and modernisation initiative to participate in the work of the statuteary Commission with the aim of implementing the transparent process in changes in the statute.
The opposition's stance on the merger of 10 parliamentary groups remains unknown. Unofficially, sources inside V MRO-DPMNE says such a thing can happen only after the formation of new party bodies and possible statuteic changes.
Following Hristian Mickoski's election for VMRO-DPMNE chairman, he also held a meeting with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev. The two leaders agreed to co-operation in the area of reforms and the need for opposition support.
Although Mickoski warned that VMRO- The DPMNE will soon return to the Assembly, such a thing now remains hostage to the rulings for the deputies' detentions of this party.
