During meetings with employees of the GAZ Institute (Gorkovskiy Car Institute in Nizhny Novgorod), the Russian leader said:
GAZ worker Artyom Baranov found that Putin had met with his colleagues earlier and had asked if they had their support, reports “Vestinat”, Periscopi broadcasts.
He informed them of his decision only after they unanimously showed him that they would support him.
At a rally with young people in Moscow, Putin received a positive response to supporting his candidacy for another Russian presidency mandate.
Putin became president of Russia in March 2000, and in 2004 he won the second term.
From 2008 to 2012, he served as Russia's prime minister.
He won the third presidential mandate in presidential elections held in 2012.
The election campaign for the new presidential elections will begin before the New Year./Periscopi/
