The Criminal Court in Macedonia has accepted the announcement from the Parliament, which opens the way for the investigative body to proceed further with the subject.
Under the penal stance, all competent organs have been announced in time and that the behaviour and submission of deputies are expected before the judges of the preliminary procedure.
On Friday after we left, the Parliament voted to lift immunity for six deputies. Among them are: Krsto Mukoski, Sashe Vasilevski, Johan Tarculovski, Lupco Dimovski, Ljuben Arnaudov and Jacques Peshevska. For the same work, the court assigned the detention measure to former BSP director Mitko Cavkov, the two protest leaders Bogdan Ilievski and Boris Damovski, former Opera and Ballet Director Igor Durllovski, two agents Munir Pepic and Oliver Radulov, as well as former security chief Trajko Veljanovski, Goran Gjosevski.
On the day of the action, police at the order of the Prosecutor for Organised Crime and Corruption conducted raids at the homes of MPs Trajko Veljanovski and Vesel Memedi. For the “the terrorist operation of constitutional order and security” 36 people are suspected, which according to the Penal Code envisions at least 10 years in prison.
