Russia condemns the provocative actions of the United States in connection with North Korea, as well as Washington's efforts to include Tokyo and Seoul in these provocations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, adding that Japan and South Korea “will become the first victims in the case of the war explosion on the Korean peninsula”.
According to the minister, Phenani has refused to launch missiles for more than two months before the last launch Wednesday, reports “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.
Lavrov explained that American officials made it clear to Russia that the upcoming US exercises near the border of North Korea were not scheduled to take place until spring 2018.
The foreign minister stressed that Russia fully agreed with the regime of sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council against North Korea.
Lavrov's statement comes after the arrival of US aircraft ahead of joint US-South American exercises due to begin on December 4th, a movement that repeatedly tried on the part of partisans as provocative.
The deployment comes days after the genani launched the Hwasong-15 ballistic missile, which was reportedly capable of covering 13,000km Wednesday.
The launch of the missiles, which reached an altitude of 4,475 miles [4,475 km], lasted 53 minutes, after which the missile fell into Japan's sea, within the exclusive Japanese economic zone.
According to the South Korean Defence Ministry, the launch was successful, while the missiles were believed to be able to reach Washington, DC.
Russia and China have proposed a plan of so-called “durability”, which stipulates the simultaneous halting of Puerto Rican nuclear tests and joint US-South Central exercises, while tensions on the Korean peninsula have reached an unprecedented level this summer in North Korea's ballistic missiles, which have been repeatedly repeated as provocative by the DPS leadership./Periscopi/
