Faton Klinkaku of OVL has said he has had the promise of Vetevendosje deputies that they will have their support in the request for the abolition of the Special Court.
Klink has confirmed that they are awaiting the next session after the winter break, and according to him, the assembly has the obligation to call the session for the abolition of the Special Court, based on the 15 thousand signed OVL petition.
The chairmanship of the assembly has had to call the session, parties are playing games they're not taking seriously. We've had promises from other parties, we've had promises from the VV to support our request to abolish the special court. We expect that after the break at the next session they will call the session, they have a mandatory” Klink said in an interview in Info Magazine.
He has denied that the time of collecting the signatures of this petition was intentional, since he said that since the Special Court's adoption of the law had rejected it.
Klinaku added that, as the law for this court has been adopted, it could be abolished, with the simple majority.
