During this visit, Trendafilova did not meet with President Hashim Thaci. For this, the president for Rtv21 has said it is unfortunate that Special Court representatives do not co-operate with Kosovo, while having regular visits with Belgrade.

He stressed that it is very bad for the country that now the role of the deputy and agenda of Tribunal presents Serbia's Ministry of Justice.
Asked whether it might be a signal for the first indictment by the Special Court to visit Trendafilova, Thaci said I cannot speak on behalf of Tribunal or the Court.
On her visit to Kosovo, Trandafilova stressed that specialised rooms are independent and will not have political interference. The rose has been appointed on December 14, 2016, as head of Specialised Chambers.
