This is Don Shan Zefi: I have not offended Muslims.

A Facebook account named Don Shan Priest Zefi has distributed insulting accusations and comments towards the Muslim community. Commenting on this profile cursed former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic, who did not kill Albanians of Muslim faith. “Faj has Milosevic, only 150 thousand Albanians were to be left alive. You Turks either drive you out or burn you”, it was said in one of the comments.

Contacted by Radio Free Europe, Don Shan Zefi has denied that he is his profile.

No, he's not my Facebook account at all. This isn't the first time, much like the same name, they opened a few years ago, but after the installation it was removed, that Facebook account went out and it was found that there's absolutely nothing but my picture that I saw, my portrait, there's nothing real about”, Zefi said.

“I am preparing to present the case to the prosecutor and to the court, and should the state of Kosovo be more vigilant and not fall prey to even the mass media in Kosovo”, Zefi has said of Free Europe.

He has said that those who have opened this false profile have intended to ruin coexistence among Albanians and damage to the Catholic Church.

Zefi says he has been constantly attacked by different extreme groups, but that, according to him, he has always promoted interreligious tolerance in Kosovo.

Comments of this profile that Chan Zefi describes as false have been made in various online media. Hundreds of commentators have voiced opposition to the content of offensive comments made by this Facebook account.
