Serbian historian and academician Vasilije Crestic has said Serbia's Academy of Sciences and Arts will not give up on Kosovo for any kind of award.
In my perspective, the Academy will stand at the point where I will not take my hands from Kosovo and Metohija for any price. There is no formal recognition of the self-declared state by Albanians in Kosovo”, the academy member for a Belgrade radio has said.
Krestic has added that Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia and is a red line that cannot be crossed.
According to him, the fight for the Serb people in Kosovo to have a normal status must continue.
If we fight everywhere for democracy then we must not allow violence against Serbs in Kosovo, this violence is in every step and is not stopping. There's a lot we have to fight”, it's over, Krestitch.
