Most of the deputies of the Democratic Party of Kosovo have voted against the amendment to pay teachers of children with special needs.
Only 42 MPs had voted in favour of the amendment, which would force the Kosovo government to pay assistants or supplementary teachers for children with special needs in public schools. But on Friday this amendment had failed because it lacks only one vote, Inseder writes.
MPs from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Evgeni Thaci-Draggusa for Telegrafi, said she has respected her party's parliamentary group position.
“The parliamentary group's stance that some amendments which do not have support from the Board and Finance Commission are not voted into a budget imbalance. Otherwise the amendment has been very shot”, Thaci-Draggusha indicated
