Under a “shout, not a cent more”, numerous citizens have started their protest before KEDS to counter the expensive electricity in the country.
One of the protest organisers, Rron Djindjic, said the responsibility for expensive electricity is borne by the Kosovo Government and politicians.
That, according to him, private companies aim to win and do not have the welfare of the citizen in mind, while the government is the one who should assume its responsibilities.
As protesters march towards the Government object, they are holding slogans like “Do not sharpen your room”, “Pak for the north, now for you too”, through which they are seeking the Government of Kosovo not to increase the price of energy.
Otherwise, a long time ago, a price of 20 percent electricity has been warned, which has caused great dissatisfaction among citizens
