Citizens protesting today in front of the energy regulator's offices brought some coal with them.

A group of protesters today carried out an action ahead of the facility of the Energy Regulatory Office, where they left little coal.

The protesters also brought coal to remember pollution, but also to suggest that Kosovo sleeps on coal and electricity should not be expensive.

Today's event explained with a statement, one of the protesters-Arber Rushiti.

Kosovo's “We citizens are victims of pollution that causes us our thermal power plant and that will cause us every future thermal power plant”, Rushiti said.

He said further that the thermal power plant would make sense if the electricity payment was cheaper.

This would make sense if we paid less, but our government is planning that in addition to the expensive health costs, it will make the current in our homes even more expensive”, Rushiti said.

He demanded that public institutions protect the interest of citizens rather than private companies.

Granit Rushiti, another part of the action invited citizens to protest before KED tomorrow.

“We have chosen the KED building to recall that the protests on this issue began in 2013 with the inflating of bills, and also because of the symbolic that is necessary for such issues”, Rushiti said.

KEDS expressed surprise yesterday that for expensive turn will protest before its facilities, saying it does not specify the price of electricity.

Arber Rushiti also had answers.

Allow me to remind KEDS and all those who do not have it clearly, that freedom to protest in public space is guaranteed with the country's Constitutions and laws”, Rushiti added. /Cashho. com
