Italy's President Sergio Mattella, through a telegram of congratulations, has congratulated his Kosovo counterpart, Hashim Thaci, and our country for the holiday season.

The head of the Italian state, the people of Kosovo, has congratulated peace, prosperity and happiness.

I have the pleasure of expressing my sincerest peace, prosperity and happiness to you and your country on the eve of the new year, says the Italian president's card to the president of Kosovo.

Even Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic has congratulated Thaci and our citizens for the New Year's celebration.

Other congratulations sent to the Office of the President of Kosovo today include that of Hungary's President János Áder, as well as of Albania's President Ilir Meta.
