According to Avni Zahit, spokesman for Regional Police in Mitrovica, the attack occurred after police were casting a ticket to counter traffic. Three persons suspected of assaulting the official person in the conduct of official office have been arrested. The arrest of suspects has taken place around 9:30 today in Skenderaj, at the time when the regional traffic unit was pronouncing a counter-insult”, Zahit said.
The spokesman indicated that the attack was carried out by the driver and two passengers, while the police suffered bodily injuries.
One of the suspects has been assigned police ban, while the other two have been released in regular procedure.
