The main role in this FKPK investment performance was to have investments in the financial market outside Kosovo, contributing to the vast majority of returns from investments.
It should not be overlooked that the basis for increasing the value of FKPK's investment lies in an overall development of global financial markets, where about 90% of FKPK's tools have been cracked. This year, as far as this date of reporting, has recognised stability and sustainable global economic growth, which came both from improving economic indicators and from monetary ease to major economic centres. These were investors' increased optimism preconditions, which at the same time The KKPK had an investment strategy that managed to harvest this positive development in markets.
Tools under management
Even this year, the FKPK set a record in raising the means under management. Without including the month of December, the equipment under management has been set up for about 217m euros, compared to about 189m euros that had been established a year earlier. In addition to returning from investments to building tools under management, the record benefits of new contributions also affected. By this date, there were 150m euros in new contributions, including December. So by December 14, 2017, the tools under management have amounted to 1 billion and 634m euros.
For this period, FKPK had vehicle exits for distributed pensions (26m euros), management fees (7m euros), and returns (507 thousand euros).
Number of Contributors
The number of contributors with an account at the FKPK rose considerably over this period with 47,607 new contributors entering the scheme, prompting the number of FKPK accountants to reach 589,530.
By this date of reporting we also had a significant increase in the number of active contributors, with a total of 36,848 accounts, thus reaching total 349,529 active accounts. Factal affecting the increase also involved holding elections in the country and engaging temporary staff by the parties involved in the process.
Retired
The number of pension beneficiaries for this period was 5,022, with a corresponding amount of 26m euros, against 4,447 beneficiaries and the amount of 19m euros in 2016. While from the establishment to this date from FKPK have benefited pensions 38,631 persons, worth a total of 117m euros.
Investments in Kosovo
The amount of investments in Kosovo rose from around 99m euros at the end of 2016 to about 142m euros by December 14th, 2017. Enhancing investments in Kosovo came due (mainly) to increased means deposited in local banks. The ongoing Steering Board has expressed the will for more investments to be made in the country, within the possibilities permitted by law.
Contributors Services
A total of 141,212 services for contributors were offered by the reporting date, against 81,514 last year's services, or an increase of 73%. The number of contributors registered in online service (eTrusti) was also raised from 62,471 to 79,154 - an increase of 27%.
