According to NASA, the full moon that will appear on January 1st will be a superfield.
This will be the first moon in 2018 and will be followed by another few weeks later.
The moon in the sky will look brighter and bigger. The super moon happens when the orbit of the full moon is full of Earth.
During this event the moon generally becomes 14% larger and 30% brighter than a full moon.
They usually happen every 13 months according to NASA.
