LDK leader Isa Mustafa has said that what happened in the Kosovo Assembly tonight was a proposal that was unacceptable to the LDK, and is unacceptable to the state of Kosovo.
“We have brought the Law to the Kosovo Assembly aware that Kosovo must face and clear the past. All of us have calculated that justice is on the side of Kosovo and on the side of its people, and today there is no reason to overlook what has been achieved before. We have made all decisions in full co-ordination with our friends, the US and the EU, and how the LDK will continue to preserve this relationship”, Mustafa, accompanied by LDK deputies, has said.
He has said the LDK will not support this initiative and in no case will allow Kosovo's citizenship to be endangered and Resolution 1244 returned.
For us it is a matter of conclusion, because we consider that there is no reason to continue. We trust our people, we trust the United States.
As the LDK supports our parliamentary group's stance and we will try to co-operate with other parties, with the Vetevendosje Movement and the ruling parties not to risk the state of Kosovo”, Mustafa has said.
