Kosovo judiciary “on Friday's broadcast show showed that institutions are failing to prevent domestic violence that is also causing murder. In two cases divided in the last month, two women have been killed by the violence of their husbands.
In Pec, under cruel circumstances a woman was stabbed by her ex-husband.
The wounded man's attack left a pregnant woman.
The cases have shown that they are associated and institutions have not yet achieved the goal of being willing to prevent crime within the family.
Albanian Malaj from the Ombudsman's institution shows that the responsible institutions are failing to prevent the murders, which, in turn, have domestic violence.
Adelina Berisha from the Kosovo Women's Network, as the show broadcast, has said that disrespecting standards on the part of those responsible within security institutions and law is promoting domestic violence, which, according to her, often ends with fatal cases for women who are victims of violence.
Berisha has said all responsible institutions have their concessions and shortcomings in dealing with cases of domestic violence and especially in preventing murder.
Albanian Malet and Adela Berisha's statements could follow.
