Special adviser Robert Mueller has reportedly received tens of thousands of e-mails from President Donald Trump's transition team as part of an investigation into the 2016 elections.
So far the FBI has charged four people as part of the investigation.
A lawyer from the”Trump group for America” has confirmed that emails were illegally received by a third party.
But a council spokesman said the necessary “penal process” was followed.
Furthermore, Mueller is investigating the alleged link between the presidential campaign Trump and Russia, something both sides deny.
”Trump for America” used a government agency, General Services Administration (GSA), for their offices, equipment and email in the period between the selection of Donald Trump and its inauguration in 2017, Kosovo reports.
