The latest show “Justice in Kosovo” broadcast research on the controversy created over the Justice Agreement reached in Brussels on February 10, 2015.
In addition to the Agreement, reactions have been made to the text of judges and prosecutors of the non-US community.
The presidency of Kosovo through a communique had announced that President Thaci on October 24th by decree has appointed 40 judges and 13 new state prosecutors from the non-US community.
Kosovo is built on the constitutional principles, inclusion, equality and freedom of each individual. Kosovo has adopted adequate measures to promote a full and effective equality among members of communities in all areas of economic, social, political and cultural life”, the Presidency Community said.
However, for Kosovo's “Justice Programme”, Kosovo Parliament MPs Vjosa Osmani and Albulen Haxhiu have said there is a serious lack of transparency by the President's Office concerning this process.
“Akoma has lack of transparency on the part of Kosovo's president whether these judges have been sworn in or not because there is no video recording, and what has happened is different from any other oath that occurs”, LDK deputy Vjosa Osmani said.
While, Albulen Haxhiu MP from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks said he will seek transparency from the president's office.
“will ask the Office of the Presidency to inform us about the process of decree because, according to unofficial voices, there has been a different process with the decree of judges and other prosecutors”, Haxhiu said.
