The Ministry of Europe knows where to build the Opera and Ballet Theatre

The Ministry of Culture plans next year to concreteise the idea and final project for the opera and ballet theatre “Dr. Ibrahim Rugova”

But this institution still doesn't know whether to try to build the object on the parcel near the Technical Faculty, where eight years ago the cornerstone was laid for this institution, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

On the other hand, the Pristina municipality, which now resembles swamps, does not view the site as a suitable place for the Opera and Ballet Theatre, and has mentioned other plans again. In fact, according to the Komuna, an institution like this should be located near the city center.

All of this is done after the state invested over one million euros in the project and foundations of “Dr. Ibrahim Rugova”, tools that, except for the spent, no one has claimed responsibility.

The Ministry of Culture for the coming year has set aside 100,000 euros for this capital project, in contrast with the planning for 2017, where 300 thousand euros were allocated.

The MKRS warns that, over the next year, ideas and final projects will be prepared to replace the previous one declared invalid.
