LDK deputy response to the “big work if LDK members were killed”

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Driton Selmanaj has sharply criticised Nasim Haradinaj's statement by the KLA's OVL, which yesterday during an interview with the post-war killings, has said that “great work if LDK members were killed”.

Selmanaj in a statement to Inseder has said he expects from the organisation Haradinaj represents as well as from other institutions to distance themselves from this declaration. According to him, if this is the approach of these organizations then they are responsible for these murders.

I expect that today, that the organization he represents and the other institutions that are called into those values will otherwise be distanced if this is the approach of these organizations, then they are really responsible for these, if they don't matter to them after the war, if it doesn't matter to them, killing someone just because he thought otherwise, these organizations actually have serious problems even with their organisation with their public engagement in Kosovo<1>.

I expect today not only to distance themselves from an irresponsible statement, but I think, I can't find words to describe, entirely contrary to any commitment anyone has had to the freedom of Kosovo, not to talk about that organisation that should protect our aspirations for freedom and independence”, Selmanaj said.

Selmanaj has further said that a discurs and such a mentality has been and continues to reign in most of those who are at the helm of this organization. He has further said that these people who are at the helm of these organisations have done more harm to Kosovo than benefits.

The “actually was the silent disk within this organization, this mentality, this approach reigns in most people who are at the helm of this organization. Not only of war veterans but of other similar organisations of war invalids or families of martyrs because the involvement of the leaders of these organisations is a group of people who have an impression that they have done more harm to Kosovo especially after the war than any benefit. And this discurs and this approach reigns from the war first within structures that are involved in other structures. And then even after their founding associations I am impressed with these mass men carry the values of war they have actually privatized these values of war and as such this mind is in place and the values of war are seen only to destroy this country, devour this country, but never to achieve the purpose of the Kosovo Liberation Army's own war”, Selaman said of Inseder.

Selmanaj has said these organisations have become part of political agendas.

“They're part of a political agenda if they had this effort they would have talked about 2 years ago when the law for specialised Special Court chambers was passed, then it wasn't heard at all, then they were backed by the president, Thaci was supported by the PDK, they had a great closeness, not to say they were created by them, and now it occurred to someone that this process was wrong and must be changed. They should not become part of the political agendas but invest in archives or say in cultivating the values of war that they themselves have fought. Any tendency to get out of this is self-destructive from this body”, Selmanaj said.
