LDK activist Selajdin Bytyqi has been interviewed by police in Istog, where the mayoral vote is being held.
On a proposal for KALLXO.com, Bytyqi said he was called by police to issue a statement.
I'm right now (in the police) giving a statement“, he indicated.
On the other hand, Bytyqi has denied being involved in any attempt to buy votes.
There's no truth I've tried to buy votes. From the opposing camp, he called me at the police station as if I was involved, but that doesn't stand. This is only because I'm an old LDK activist“, Bytyqi told KALLXO.com.
He admits that it was only twice at the resort - once when he voted and once brought bread. The second time she says she's been to the school yard.
Otherwise, citizens of the Istog municipality are voting today for their chairman.
Haki Rugova and the AAK's Gani Dresey are in the race.
Today's vote is a repeat of the November 19th runoff.
In the first-round polls, Rugova and Dresaj had received the most votes, but not enough to win the October 22nd elections.
After the run-off LDK had complained of irregularities with votes on the outside, and the Supreme Court has decided to repeat the runoff.
