The Judicial Chamber of the Constitutional Court, led by Judge Becir Kaluldra, has not taken into account the request of Donika Cadaj-Bujupi and Albin Kurti that two VV deputies be suspended the house arrest measure.
Kalldra has said that the act of appointment for this move remains in force, but said the request will already be assessed by the tribunal, Periscopi reports.
“The implementation of this measure remains in force. A complaint against this act has been filed. The subject has not yet been handed over to the Court of Appeals, we are expecting the first review of this request, and also informs the parties that in terms of the detention measure, the court will at any moment assess the issue of detention, the issue of remaining in custody of indictees”, Kaluldra said.
Consulting the defendants' lawyers and the prosecutor of the case, the Judicial Chamber decided that the next session would be held on 7 December at 0900 hours. /Periscopi/
