Kosovo's natural beauty presented in Switzerland

At the centre of Art, <x0feral fundra”, in Melide, Switzerland, exhibitions have been opened “The Natural Beauty of Kosovo”, which aims to strengthen and enhance social and cultural relations between the Swiss Confederacy and the Republic of Kosovo. The organisation of this event was made as a result of co-operation with the Melides municipality, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Bern, and the National Museum of the Republic of Kosovo, while this project dedicated to 2017, which was proclaimed by the 70th United Nations Assembly as the International Development Development Year for Development.

This event was opened by Foundation Art Director “Ibrahim Kodra”, Mrs. Maria Pacolli, who also presented the initiative of the United Nations, while with a video message in attendance the United Nations Organization for World Tourism Secretary General, Mr. Taleb Rifai.

Tourism today has become an important catalyst for positive transformation, which can contribute to a sustainable growth in economies, association, environment and other areas.

It can also strengthen peace by supporting understanding among peoples, increasing awareness of rich heritage among different cultures, and by inviting everyone to evaluate his values.

The ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Bern, Mrs. Nazanne Breca, who has stressed that <x0-culturala makes a big contribution, so Kosovo can be recognised more and its treasures” discovered.

The exhibition, “Kosovo Natural Boxing” at the Centre of Arts at the “Ibrahim Kodra” has presented photos conducted by international photographers and participants in the best photography race for Kosovo's promotion of 2017, which was organised recently by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The authors of the photos displayed at this exhibition are as follows: Aleksandra Hiltmann, Arben Islami, Erza Rudi, Life Abazi Gashi, Maria Pacolli, Marieke Lebet-Booij, Shozen Rexha, Ylka Fetaj, Agon Nimani, Armen Mavriqi, Armen Nimani, Bleron Caka, Dea Lajqi, Sehida Miftari.

Other artistic works, including Kosovo artist Syla Mujaj, are also on display. Traditional food from Kosovo was also served after the exhibition ended. The exhibition will remain open until January 14th, 2017.
