Kosovo Wanted for Terrorism Arrested

Kosovo police have been in search of Naser Avdyl, who is sentenced by the Court for participation in the Syrian war.

Now he has been arrested, news of Avdyl's arrest confirmed KALLXO.com sources within the police.

The 37-year-old from a Dragas municipality village has been on the run.

In April last year, the Pristina Foundation Court had sentenced Avdyli to four and a half years in prison. He had been among the nine indictees who were convicted of terrorism under an indictment filed by the Special Prosecutor.

In June of this year, the Court of Appeals had confirmed the sentences handed down by the Constitutional Court, rejecting complaints of the convicts' defense./Periscope.
