Traffic accidents have claimed 119 lives in the 11 months of 2017. Between January and November, there have been 16,122 traffic accidents, of which 107 have ended with fatality.
According to Kosovo Police data, in the same period last year there have been a total of 16,970 accidents, of which 89 have ended with fatality, while 100 people have lost their lives, writes Koha Ditore today.
The number of accidents has also marked up last weekend as a result of climate change.
In the last 24 hours alone, according to police, there have been a total of 36 traffic accidents, of which 3 have ended with fatality.
One woman and three other people injured were killed in an accident in Glogovac Komoran on Sunday. The same day, on Gjakova-Pye Street in the village of Skivjan there was a serious traffic accident, resulting in the loss of mother-son life.
