Deputy Governor of the Kosovo Central Bank (BQK) Lulzim Ismajli in an interview for Telegrafi has said that investing in Bitcoin and other cryptovalus has great risk.
According to him, those who make investments in these virtual coins carry the risks themselves because they have nowhere to complain.
Kosovo's Central Bank has carefully assessed the issues of Bitcoin and other cryptovacles, but seeing these investments happening around the world and in Kosovo we have come up with a communique related to the risks that these investments bring, as it does not monitor and regulates any local or international authority, so it means it is not behind this”, Ismajli said.
BEC Deputy Governor Lulzim Ismajli has said that investments that make Kosovo citizens in Bitcoin and other cryptovalus, they carry their own risks because they have nowhere to complain about remunt the means in case of losses.
“Citizens who invest in these currency and may have no losses can address local institutions to return these tools and cannot ask for financial institutions instead of turning back the means because the CEC does not regulate or monitor it, nor does it stand behind these cryptovalutes”, Ismaj said.
The lack of cryptovatolus by some banking and financial authority made investments in cryptovaluta very dangerous.
“All risk from investments in Bitcoin and cryptovaluta is individual. So citizens have nowhere to complain about because there's no authority to regulate these currency. Our advice as BQK is not to invest in Bitcoin because of the risk of investing in krypovaluta”, Deputy Governor Ishmael said.
He said in his interview with the Telegraph he said that unlike the money we use, where the states are guaranteed, for Bitco and krypovaluta neither guarantees anyone.
The money on paper that we use is nationalized. The euro is produced by European states and controlled by them, which is based all the time on a country's economic barrel, but there are cases that states also guarantee gold. And for Bitcoin and other cryptova peaces, there is no supervisory authority and authority that has issued this cryptovalut”, Lulzim Ismajli said BQK deputy governor.
