Kosovo placed on EuroOPOL member states' priority list

The EUROPOL management board has decided that Kosovo will be on the priority list by the member states of EUROOPOL, with which EUROOPOL will link labour deals. The news has been disclosed by Deputy Director General for Security in the EU Olivier Onidi during a meeting today with Kosovo Interior Minister Flamur Sefaj, attended by the chief of the EU office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova and Kosovo Police General Director Shpend Maxhu.
The deployment and approval of Kosovo on the priority list by member states and approval by the EUROPOL Management Board has also come as a result of the continued work that MPB in close co-operation and co-ordination with the Kosovo Police, ILEC, MPJ and the prime minister's office, says the Ministry of Internal Affairs media communiqué.
Minister Sefaj expressed his commitment to fighting in any possible form of terrorism and violent extremism, as well as any kind of threat to state security, crimes of all kinds and especially trans-border ones.
