An incident has been marked at the media conference when the two sides have spoken about Kosovo and the two countries' stance on its independence.
When Bosnian Presidency Chairman Dragan Covic has spoken about Kosovo, saying Sarajevo as far as this issue is concerned would suit Belgrade's positions, other member Bakir Izetbegovic has reacted.
Izetbegovic has said Bosnia's foreign policy should be independent.
The international BiH policy will guide these three people and it will be led to Sarajevo. Of course, we will take many into account the attitudes of neighbouring countries because we live with Serbia, we live with Croatia and the EU, where we have taken responsibility in the integration process. But my position is that foreign policy takes place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I begged Covic that what he said to say as his position, not as the presidency's”, Izetbegovic said.
The Serbian president has then reacted to a mimic, indicating revolt over Bakir Izetbegovic's stance.
That's what it looks like. I only cited what I received during official conversations, but the situation is so about Kosovo and borders”, Vuciq said.
Izetbegovic's remarks have sparked numerous reactions in Serbia and Republika Srpska, as well as days earlier when Izetbegovic displayed his personal opinion that Bosnia has had to recognise Kosovo for a long time.
